SCEL Announces Plans for Ninth Annual Workshops

The Southeastern Center for the Enhancement of Learning will host its ninth annual Feuerstein Workshops in June of 2009 at the SCEL Training Center in Metro-Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Classes are scheduled for June 8-26. Classes in all Levels of IE Standard, IE Basic and LPAD are being planned. Although it may be necessary to make adjustments in offerings, Director, Dr. Martha M. Wood, has announced the following schedule for courses and trainers:

LPAD Classes
LPAD I and II will be offered concurrently, with some combined sessions for the discussion of the theoretical aspects of LPAD. Each course will run for eight days.

As always, classes are contingent upon adequate enrollment. Those interested in the training should refer to the SCEL website, www.scel.org for information on accommodations and for updates and/or changes in course offerings. If it should be necessary to cancel classes due to inadequate enrollment, applicants will be notified by May 1, 2009.
Non-refundable travel tickets should not be purchased until classes are confirmed. Inquiry can be made through info@scel.org for the status of classes or for additional information. Registration fees include all materials, an ICELP diploma, continental breakfast, a light lunch each day, and two hospitality breaks. A get acquainted reception is planned for Sunday evening, June 14.
The Conference Hotel will again be Country Inn and Suites, and transportation from the hotel to the training site will be provided. Information on accommodations is on the website. Public transportation is available from the hotel to downtown Atlanta and many points of interest.

Programa de Enriquecimento Instrumental
ESTRUTURA DO CURSO DE FORMAÇÃO
O curso de FORMAÇÃO NO PEI está dividido em 3 (três) módulos distribuídos durante o período de um ano.
A realização deste curso conta créditos acadêmicos no curso de Especialização Lato Sensu em Intervenção Cognitiva.
PÚBLICO ALVO E REQUISITOS
Profissionais que atuam nas áreas da Educação, Saúde e Desenvolvimento Humano.
Requisito: Formação universitária
CERTIFICAÇÃO
Ao finalizar o curso com freqüência mínima de 90%, os participantes receberão certificado de mediadores do PEI, emitido pelo ICELP - International Center for the Enhancement of Learning Potential, – Israel.
